The case for detecting breast cancer became early only stronger. The researchers now find that to combine a newer drug of the cancer named Herceptin with traditional chemotherapy is considerably better to keep the breast cancer under control that to use the oldest only treatment. Indeed, the luck of the illness to relapse has nearly been cut in half for women who took the combination, according to results presented to the recent American Society of oncology to meet Clinic, a gathering first of specialists of the cancer.

Herceptin is part of a new tendency in treatment of the cancer that different therapies before him, target the specific shortcomings that cause cells of the cancer to grow. The hold:  the drug only acts against a type of present mistake in 20 to 30 percent breast cancers, and the tumors must be caught the earliest to their, most accommodating stage. The same blindness of the color cannot hold truly for tumors that are diagnosed in the more belated stages. In a separated survey that tested Herceptin in women who had advanced the breast cancer, 53 percent of whites answered the drug. In blacks, the answer was only 38 percent.

Unfortunately, it is the more common script. The African Americans are diagnosed typically with stage stern, belated tumors that are thought are a reason why the black women have the lower survival estimates that white.
