The United States supreme court granted, like December 12, an insurer associated a long time with the product asbestos manufacturer John Manville to consider to return to an asbestos trust fund of nearly $500 million against the Travelers Co.

The John Manville Co, once among the biggest manufacturer of the asbestos product world created a confidence separated in the 1980s to satisfy demands classified directly against the company. The trust fund have been approved by a judge of the bankruptcy federal and funds came for a big part of insurers.

The demands are now filed however, directly against the Traveler Co that are accused of trying to hide the dangers of asbestos while an insurer of John Manville. The travelers already adjusted several claimants so long as the federal course block wraps besides against the insurer.

The travelers now ask that their trust fund are unjust because all demands against the insurer should be paid through the John existing Manville have confidence in solely by opposition to the fund attached to the insurer.

Although the confidence has been approved in the lower courses the second Appeal court of the Circuit American reversed this decision on concerns about the power of the bankruptcy courts to publish such general regulations.
